Pull up a stool, light up a Malboro Light, put on some Arctic Monkeys, crack open a can of Stella and have a decco around our interweb site.

For those of you who don’t know, the Northern Element are a bunch of lads, mostly immigrants, mostly in Brisbane (Australia - get a globe, turn it upside down and look at the big blob of yellow at the top), mostly beer monsters, mostly casual, mostly vocal football fanatics who look forward to geing down the boozer with the lads n lasses and making loads of noise at the football.

We are Australia’s first bunch of casual supporters and although we have loads of Aussies amongst us we are mostly Brits and Europeans but don’t hold that against us. Amongst us we have supporters of Cardiff, Bristol City, Millwall, Chelsea, Man Yoo, Inter, St Pauli, Parma, Liverpool and Spurs just to name a few.

The thinks we have in common are supporting our local team our home from home (or home!) Brisbane, drinking lots of beer and stupid bucas as well as eating kebabs and chanting like we care.

We don’t really buy into the ‘you must wear colours to be a true supporter’ nor do we beleive you should be a member of an official supporters club to be recognised as a real fan. Indeed, we don’t give a fuck about dressing up like that or conforming to anorak rules. Insetead we just like a laugh, a few beers and a lot of football.

We don’t like no rascist shit nor do we like fucking idiots playing up. We prefer a lot of banter and we respect all those who respect us. If you like being a cunt then you probably won’t like us lot.
