Thanks for the heads up, but I indicated that when I said the person who "plays" Ron Manager is Paul Whitehouse.

My wink at the end should have showed that I was completely joking about you being a dirty stinking yid, even though I know that I wasn't technically correct, it was however intended to be banter. For correctness sake however its not the fictional character of Ron Manager who supports Spurs "we are a small club but pretend to be big" of course, but rather the creator and actor/comedian behind the idea of Ron Manager (Paul Whitehouse) who is a yid.

I would hope that Wenger is blinkered, being that he is the manager and all.

I thought you hadnt seen the funny side mate, so minus the wink, it got me hook line and sinker !! I re-read my post as well and I sounded like a bit of a sarcastic cock, so apologies there ! As I've said before I'm not very good at the internet :(

I should just leave the funny stuff to Super Swally. A comedic genius on the forum IMO. And honourable mentions to Spin Dr and BMc who have a knack for the funny stuff too.

I'm truly honoured. But I'd give the award to Fergie for his deadpan delivery (if there is such a thing in writing) and because he said he'd take my lunch money if I didn't. A special mention though for Norm, who is without doubt the best at being from Chile.

True, how could i forget fergie & norm. Their posts often make me lol . Fergie 's recent post of the conversation between billionairre (spelling ?) & iRoar 2.0 was a classic. Anyway sorry we got off topic.

I wanted the Spurs "we are a small club but pretend to be big" Arsenal derby be on the Saturday night 10th April. But it's not now. Life is tragic.

Sorry about that result Ron !

Haven't been on for a couple of days so a belated reply, but I was very worried at half time when we were 1-0 down to the Juventus beaters. A bit of magic by Harry at half time bringing Bentley & Huddlestone on for Assou-Ekotto and Kranjcar did wonders though. Also a gutsy move when Corluka got injured early in the second half to bring on Pavlychenko and switch Palacios to right back. It all came off in the end and thats why Harry is a legend, because more often than not he gets it right.

Full credit to Fulham though, they're a decent side and I hope they still do well in the Europa League.

Oh and I almost forgot ... Stokebloke is a genius, he said we'd beat Fulham but it would take a replay and he was spot on. I'm on the "Stokebloke for the Australian job" bandwagon, 100% now !!

Ha Ha - I'll be at The Pig to support you Ron ;)

I kinda know how you feel though as my brother (who lives in Wood Green) is a Gooner and I'll be getting texts from him if we make it to the final and lose ! The drunk texts between us are the best usually slagging each others team off.... brothers hey !

He's brave, I don't think I'd tell anyone I supported Arsenal in those parts. I never liked walking around Wood Green after sundown.

PS. I hope your lot crash out miserably, in the nicest possible way.

Been off the forum for a few days again, hence another delayed reply !

I don't think that sort of thing has ever really bothered my Brother as he loves a scrap. Wood Green is a hole though as you say. Recently his flat was broken into, they stole his passport and trashed the joint as well as tried to set light to the place. It was only the quick response of a neighbour and some firies that stopped his place from getting burnt down. I looked at the local website for the Wood Green area to see if it was reported and whilst it wasn't (as they saved the place) it seems as though this sort of thing has been a regular occurance in the area as there were two articles about places that had been burnt down within a couple of recent weeks. I must admit Wood Green wouldn't be the sort of place I'd want to settle down in and raise a family thats for sure, although the only advantage is that its close to White Hart Lane ;)
